On Saturday at noon, the air will ripple once. Something in your blood compels you to head toward the pyre in the center of the village. If you begin to resist, a flock of pesky, pesky crows will start to harass you, pecking at your head incessantly. Upon arriving at your destination, you’ll notice that the flames flicker blue instead of their usual warm hues. What was once comforting now feels cold, and almost a little eerie when you stare into it too long.

The table at the southernmost point has been commandeered by the cultists. Slips of paper and writing utensils are scattered around so you might grab one and cast your vote. The benches are rearranged, some of them now occupied with evidence or the bodies of… well, you know who. Otherwise, grab whatever's remaining to take a seat, or get to work.

You have nine hours.

Welcome back, Sacrifices, to trial! In the next nine hours, the characters are expected to discuss among themselves, ask questions, examine the bodies of the victims, look over the evidence found yesterday, and revisit locations as needed in order to find the culprit(s). There'll be a one hour break from 4-5 PM EST, where no mod tags will occur.

Before the trial is over, please remember to place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9 PM EST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. If you have any questions at any time, please let the mods know by pinging us on Discord!
